It can get a bit hot in Paris in August which is uncomfortable but normally it is around 25 celcius in the shade which is about 77 farenheit. But it can get a bit warmer. However you have the advantage that the city is quite “empty” so you can walk around freely.

True it can get a bit too hot at times but as is written above, the city is much more calm and relaxed and you can actually chill out. At least for us Parisians we get tired of the stress and speed of the city during other time periods. What is annoying is that quite some smaller shops are closed over summer month.
   However you have a few advantages
   1. Hotels are really cheap in august since PAris is totally empty.
   2. Much less traffic.
   3. Less pollution!
   

   But it isn’t the most comfortable for the weather.
