What is the weather in Paris November? do we need umbrella and coats? or just jackets?

november paris umbrella in paris winter

I want to come to Paris either in summer or winter, am trying to judge the odds. Coming from Northern Europe I would like to know what is the best. In summer I know it gets quite hot but I have other plans for real summer holidays. So was thinking of coming in November, but I would like to know how the weather compares to scandinavia in winter.
Can we wear jackets or do we need to wear coats? Does it rain or snow?

You will probably need all three if you stay for more than 1 week.
The weather is really iffy during this month.
